dan did his very first triathalon last year at lake lure, and i was very newly pregnant with donovan. throughout this year dan has done other triathalons, and he just came full circle back to lake lure for the 2nd annual. this year of course was a bit different.......first of all i felt much better, and second of all holy cow i had to bring alot of stuff!
dan met his goal of finishing in under an hour and a half and in the top 20%. and donovan met his goal of being the happiest baby in the world with a ma
rathon day of no sleep. i have talked in past blogs of donovan being very social...he does not want to miss a thing and he constantly proves his parents wrong by being socially appropriate in public and saving the meltdowns for the confines of his home. this trip was just another example. and so donovan collected his medal for the happiest baby with the least amount of sleep on his way out of town. and his parents prize........he slept until 9am the next morning.
